Enterprise Transformation
I was fortunate enough to join VMware at a pivotal time in their business development. Over the past several years, VMware has been undergoing a digital transformation to unify their vast product portfolio, mixed commerce models, and fragmented user experience across products and services. The work being done, both product execution and customer research, is crucial in the development of the business’ multi-cloud strategy.

Seeing the Big Picture
Mapping out the customer journey allows me to gain a comprehensive view of the entire experience our customers have with our processes. Journey maps can highlight the happy path, reveal pain points, and pinpoint areas of opportunity. By sharing an interactive journey map with stakeholders, I can illustrate these valuable insights, align everyone on customer priorities, and drive collaborative efforts to implement features based on our customers' feedback.
Driving Collaboration
I often encountered overlapping initiatives across different teams. By illustrating where projects align or duplicate efforts, it encourages teams to collaborate, streamline efforts, align on goals, and enhance productivity to achieve common objectives.

As a manager I rely on her strategic systems thinking and depth of technical understanding to help drive the UX vision and bring stakeholders onboard […]

Raj C, Principal Engineer:
Winona jumped in with both feet to one of the most complex projects that VCF Engineering team has engaged on. Delivering VCF+ required alignment across a dozen or so teams and the corresponding stakeholders. Apart from the compressed timeframe, the confusion, conflict of opinion around the goals and what was achievable was a significant challenge. Winona navigated these challenges expertly. She was able to engage equally with all the teams and the stakeholders. She was able to respond to shifting goals and asks. So, in many ways, I feel that VCF+ would not have happened on time without Winona's leadership and efforts.
